This is Shane Swan, one half of the Team Bud.
Hello I am Shane Swan and I am the owner builder of the Robot called Envy. There is more information about my robot in the robot pages. I started building robots after watching the tv's robotwars and applied to enter series 5 with my very first robot called Hells Teeth. It only ever attended 1 event in brighton and we quickly saw it was not up to scratch so we decided to build another version and which was much better. That version appeared on Extreme 2 and didnt do very well. We had another robot called Trax which entered series 7 and got a thrashing from an excellent robot called Storm2. Nuff said about that :). I have learnt lots of skills while I have been building robots including how to weld. Which is nice. Jason and me enjoy going to live events not just for the pleasure of fighting our machines but also to meet new people and have a good time and a laugh. I have made Lots of new friends.... John Findlay, owner of the robot called Ripper, Trevor Wright owner of Megamouse, John Lear owner of Beast, John Bell owner of Dantomkia, Pete Lale owner of Tilly Ewe Evo, and many more. Jason tho is my bestest buddy and we met at the filming of Extreme 2 and have been friends ever since. We both had different teams but over time we have formed our own team and help eachother out with all our problems.
